Between Seasons, Toward Tomorrow

Missouri skies have held me through two seasons—spring and summer—teaching me lessons I didn’t know I needed, reshaping me in ways I couldn’t have foreseen. Some goodbyes are bittersweet, but they clear the path for what’s next. This season was a mixture of emotions: surprising revelations, quiet renewals, and changes that pushed me toward growth. Tomorrow, I turn the page—Tennessee calls, and with it, new adventures, new unknowns, and another chapter waiting to unfold.

Bittersweet Horizons

Missouri fades in twilight’s glow,
a chapter closed, its lessons sown.
Bittersweet, the roads I leave,
make room for what I still believe.

Seasons shift, the heart must bend,
beginnings bloom where old ones end.
Unknown paths, yet light is near,
I step ahead, unbound from fear.

With Grace & Ink,

Mai
